Vintage very rare discontinued heart-shaped dish with a "Cherry Ripe" pattern was made by Adderley Fine Bone China in England. Adderley, founded in 1876, was known for producing fine china. The company was purchased by Ridgway Potteries in 1947, but Ridgway continued to use the Adderley name and also introduced the "Royal Adderley" name for some bone china sets. The specific “Cherry Ripe" pattern is a discontinued design featuring red cherries and blossoms with a swirl edge and gold trim. The "Cherry Ripe" pattern was produced between 1947 and 1962. This highly collectible dish is a small trinket, candy dish, nut dish or simply use as a decorative piece.
