Approximately 45" L x 42" W. The piece has a quilted backing. Some of the threading near the edges is loose. It should be okay with a wide binding. It would make a really cute baby blanket. It has a light musty smell from.age and storage, but I will give it a steam to try to remove that. It has not been washed. Aside from fraying at edges, I did not notice any flaws.
