Vintage third class relic medal featuring Saint Pope John Paul II on the front and a relic of the soil from the Roman catacombs where many Christian Martyrs are buried on the reverse.
The image of the beloved Pope is colorized and sealed under a plastic dome on the front with a fancy gold and black decorated border.
The reverse has the same decorations and a bit of soil from the catacombs secured under a plastic bubble.
The medal appears to be made of gilded aluminum. It measures 1 1/4" with bail (not including the loop) by 1”.
