Vintage 1980s Rawlings NFL Washington Redskins Doug Williams #17 Jersey. Made in the USA! The size large on the vintage Rawlings tag measures about 22" from pit to pit and about 31" from shoulder to waist. Officially Licensed NFL Product. Doug Williams made NFL history as the 1st African-American starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl, leading the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) to victory in Super Bowl XXII. Named the game's MVP, famously throwing 4 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter. His career included stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the USFL, and he later became a college coach and NFL executive. Some minor spots on the back numbers (see photos), but the jersey is in great condition for its age, with no significant rips or tears.
