These carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt.
I believe these came off of a 79 xs650 model but these will fit 1970-1979
The carbs were completely torn down, cleaned and rebuilt with new gaskets, o rings, and jets.
Carb specs:
- Jet needles are the Mikuni 502 needle with the clip set at the 3rd notch from the top. Needles are in great shape and showed no signs of significant wear.
- Main jet is size 135, pilot jet is size 27.5. This is just a baseline.
- Pilot fuel screws have been set to 2 turns out from lightly seated.
- Slide diaphragms are in great shape with no tears in the rubber. The diaphragm bores were slightly oiled before installation to ensure a smooth up and down return after the rebuild.
- Float height was set to roughly 25mm and bench tested with fuel for leaks.
