Maine Pottery Clay Baker Tureen Slow Cooker Casserole - Signed

This vintage '80 cast clay baking dish and covered casserole is crafted and signed by Montgomery Smith of Swan Island Design Pottery in Maine. The terracotta-colored duck-shaped high-fired clay cooker functions like any glazed earthenware, eliminating the need for presoaking and starting in a cold oven. It serves as an ideal pot or tureen for long, slow cooking and transitions seamlessly from oven to table.
