Believe this beauty would be considered a transitional doll (1991?). Samantha is stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, and has the sweetest face! She has the look of the white body Samantha dolls - very long, lighter brown hair (slightly dry on the ends) and very squeezable vinyl. Her soft eyelashes appear to be all intact, and her hair maintains original curl. Eyes function normally, she can hold a pose, and although she has been played with, there are no noticeable marks or odors (but please check pics in case I missed something!) She still has her original flat "ribbon" type strings. Samantha is wearing her meet outfit - dress (tagged "Made in Germany for Pleasant Company 1986"), matching hair ribbon, black ribbed tights, white bloomers (elastic in waist has disintegrated over the years) and Mary Jane shoes.
